Many of the factors that most influence heart disease risk – being overweight / obese, having high blood pressure, not engaging in regular physical activity – are modifiable factors that you can change to substantially reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. So before it’s too late, take action by making simple changes, like reducing the intake of saturated fats in your diet and by making sure you are active everyday, even if you can only manage 5, 10, or 15 minute blocks of activity to begin with!
