A British study conducted across three varied working environments has demonstrated the beneficial role which exercise plays on productivity. 300 participants were asked to complete questionnaires on their productivity and on their mood states; taken during days undertaking 30-60 minutes of exercise and on days of non-exercise.
Overwhelmingly the participants undertaking the 30-60 minutes of exercise reported their time management skills, mental performance, and ability to meet deadlines improved on days when they exercised. Furthermore, productivity increased by a massive 15% on days the workers undertook exercise.
